Sanakhte
Sanakhte (o Sanajt) fue el primer faraón de la tercera Dinastía del Antiguo Egipto. También es conocido como Nebka. El nombre Sanajt significa “el fuerte protector”. Ganó su puesto probablemente a través de un matrimonio con una hija de Jasejemuy, su predecesor como faraón. El majestad incluso a este periodo temprano a pasándose abajo a través de la línea hembra. Fue sucedido por el más conocido Djoser, de quien se cree es su hermano. Al contrario que este, pocas reliquias sobreviven de los dieciocho años de reinado de Sanakhte, salvo un monumento escalonado que es sin lugar a dudas el punto de partida de la pirámide escalonada de Saqqara.
